This specific kind of white peony was grown from wild tea bushes over 100 years old. Our old bush silver needle was first found on the 2012 spring tea tour, we asked the tea farmer making the old bush top white peony from 2017 spring, it is a unique tea you must try.
Other Names: Bai Mu Dan, Pai Mu Dan, 老枞白牡丹(树龄百年以上)(政和白茶)
Region: Zheng He, Fujian Provence.
Steeping Guide:
Teaware: Glass or ceramic Gai Wan
Amount: 3g /1½ teaspoons
Temperature: 80°c (176°F)
Steeping Time: 1 to 2 minutes for the first two steeps and 3 to 5 minutes for the third and fourth.
*These steeping directions are for a traditional Gong Fu style tea. If you are brewing this tea in a regular cup we recommend steeping for 2 – 3 minutes. This tea can also been steeped up to four times.
