Scented rather than flavoured, jasmine tea is traditionally crafted by layering fresh jasmine blossoms with tea leaves over multiple nights. As the flowers open, they release their fragrance, which is gently absorbed by the tea. The blossoms are often removed, leaving behind a clean, lingering aroma in the cup.
