Product Description

Aged Hei Cha with Xinhui Tangerine Peel

The 2020 Bai Sha Xi Tangerine Fu Cha is a masterful union of 5-year aged Hei Mao Tea and 8-year aged Xinhui Tangerine Peel (Chenpi). Hand-pressed with precision, this Fu Brick combines the earthy depth of aged Hei Cha with the refreshing brightness of Chenpi, creating a smooth, layered, and lingeringly sweet tea.

The Hei Mao Tea, matured in large-cellar conditions, develops tight, dark strands with a rich earthy aroma and mellow sweetness. The Chenpi, naturally sun-dried and carefully aged, contributes a citrusy fragrance and uplifting fruitiness. Together, they form a tea that is both flavorful and comforting, ideal for daily enjoyment or long-term storage.

Why It’s Special

  • Authentic Origin: Produced by Bai Sha Xi, China’s oldest and most historic Hei Cha factory (est. 1940).
  • Golden Flowers: Naturally formed Eurotium Cristatum (“golden flowers”) add a signature honeyed aroma, mellow sweetness, and digestive benefits.
  • Heritage & Health: Fu Zhuan teas have long been consumed in Mongolia and Xinjiang to aid digestion. Traditionally, the more golden flowers present, the higher the quality.
  • Authorized Source: Tao Tea Leaf is the official distributor of Bai Sha Xi in Canada and the United States. Each shipment is imported directly from Anhua County, Hunan, with every case carefully packed to preserve the heritage, craftsmanship, and authenticity of China’s most historic dark tea producer.
