Three Classic Dark Teas from Bai Sha Xi
Discover the essence of Anhua Hei Cha with this comprehensive sampler set, featuring three of the most iconic dark teas from the historic Bai Sha Xi Tea Factory — the birthplace of Chinese dark tea since 1940. This set includes:
- Hei Zhuan (Black Brick Tea) – First produced in 1939, Hei Zhuan is known for its roasted wood aroma and bright yellow-orange liquor with notes of orange peel and lemongrass. Its flavor sits between a young ripe puerh and a well-aged raw puerh.
- Fu Zhuan (Fu Brick Tea) – Introduced in 1953, Fu Zhuan is famous for its golden flowers (Eurotium Cristatum), a natural probiotic that lends the tea both smooth sweetness and unique aroma. The liquor is brown-red, thick, and mellow.
- Hua Zhuan (Flower Brick Tea) – Created in 1958, Hua Zhuan is lightly smoky with pinewood notes. The liquor brews a clear orange color with a balanced, sweet flavor and smooth finish.
Because traditional dark tea bricks are tightly compressed and cumbersome to break apart, we’ve made this sampler convenient and accessible. Each type of tea is pre-cut into chunks and packed into two mini sampler boxes (40g each). In total, the set contains 240g of tea — an easy way to explore the depth and variety of Anhua dark tea.
