YiXing Teapots

Yixing clay teapots also called “Purple Sand” Zi Sha” “Purple Clay”, normally small in size, produced in Dingshu town, Yixing, Jiangsu Province, China. The Yixing Clay is high in Iron and silicon content featuring high plasticity. This traditional style commonly used to steep tea originated in China, dating back to the 15th century.
